Installation
You can install it via the Eclipse update site : http://jasmine.ow2.org/design/1.2/update-siteIf you already have the first milestone you just need to do an update.More information is available in the documentation.New Features and Enhancements
- Preview of existing infrastructure Discovery. Just by setting a JMX address of a running JOnAS instance you can retrieve services, name and some properties. All JOnAS properties and cluster information will be soon available. See documentation
- Can apply profiles on JOnAS instance. By instance, right-click on a JOnAS instance and choose the profile you want (EJB, WEB, ...).
- Browse button for path properties.
- A nightly update site is available. You can benefit daily of the latest improvements (http://jasmine.ow2.org/design/1.2/update-site-nightly)
- Upgrade export function to be compatible with JASMINe DeployMe 1.1.1+

JASMINe at Solutions Linux '09 and OW2 annual conference

JASMINe will be present at Solutions Linux '09 and at the OW2 annual conference.
Julien Legrand, from Bull, will talk about "Smooth of JavaEE application migration without interruption of service", during the "Data center et logiciels libres" session on Tuesday 31 March 09.And two days later, Julien and Mickael Leduque, from Serli, will make a talk on "How to deal with complex deployments on JavaEE distributed platform ?" during session 4 "Advances in Open Source Java EE ".The JASMINe team will be pleased to meet you.See you soon.

- Development of a plugin for the generation and validation of configuration. User can write configuration policies which can be used to generate or validate an architecture configuration
- Preview of the ESB PEtALS support

JASMINe Monitoring
- Development of a resource adapter which manages a pool of JMX connections. This RA is used by MBeanCmd.
- Tuning of the Eventswitch for a better scalability.
- Stabilization of the tool MBeanCmd.
JASMINe Self-management
- Support of the reconfiguration of CMI (EJB3 clustering) in JOnAS
Roadmap
Now, the team is working on the JOnAS 5.x support, on a web 2.0 console for the monitoring and on a CEP module to help autonomic managers to refine decisions.

JASMINe 1.0 RC1 has been released

Dear JASMINe community,
The first release candidate (1.0 RC1) of the JASMINe project has been released.
Enjoy to install it, try it and to provide us some feedback. You can use mailing lists or the bug tracker to do this.
We need you to improve and stabilize this version.

JASMINe Design & Deploy
- The ecore model, the base of the design module, has been refined. Some bug have been fixed in the JASMINe console.
- JASMINe nodes can now be deloyed from the JASMINe console with the deployment engine FDF.
- The communication between the JASMINe console and the JASMINe control node has been secured, using authentication and authorization mechanisms of JAAS.
JASMINe Monitoring
- The monitoring tool, MbeanCmd, has been open-sourced.
- An event switch, based an the ESB Mule, is now available. Monitoring events from MbeanCmd can be published in this event switch and stored in a database.
JASMINe Self-management
- This module, which is still a prototype, is based on the rules engine Drools. This engine has been upgraded from Drools 3.x to 4.x.

JASMINe 1.0.0M1 is released

Dear Community,
The JASMINe project team is proud to announce the first milestone (1.0.0M1) of Objectweb JASMINe. This release has major improvements over initial code drop and is much more stable.
The documentation was improved a lot with a User Guide and a Developer Guide. Now, JASMINe is easier to understand.
JASMINe packages are provided with an ant based installer that helps for setup the control node.
